How do I get my webcam to record sound? - set a default webcam
I have a Logitech QuickCam S5500 video recordings and normal, but it does not record sound. It has a built-in microphone and tried to program my default system recording, but had no effect. Now my tape recorder is set to "Stereo Mix".
I'm using Vista Home Basic 32-bit.

You can try liteCam, I have several months for a chat with webcams and save very happy with it. I have several programs and works best for recording short (5-20 minutes) and streaming videos.
